Scottish anchorages

Bunnahabhain

This is sold in the Sailing Directions as a convenient place to wait for the tide south through the Sound of Islay, or as a pause during a journey north. Whatever, I don't think there is much point in blowing up the dinghy because there is nothing much to see ashore other than the rather unattractive late 19th century distillery (with tours as ever, ph 01496 840 646), and some equally unattractive houses, mostly rendered grey.
