Soa island
Not really an overnight anchorage but rather good for a lunch stop. At the head of the inlet is a white shell beach which I suspect covers at high tide. Ashore there are loads of wild flowers and nesting birds – fulmars, shags and oyster catchers mostly. If you clamber up to the top of the hill there is a fantastic panorama from Iona to Mull to the Torran rocks to Jura to Colonsay to Islay to Tiree, Col and the Treshnish islands.
